It represents the industries recently implemented standard for ensuring that every piece of jewelry used in piercing applications meets rigorous quality standards and responsible manufacturer practices. For us, verification isn't a formality. It's a reflection of the same commitment to safety, integrity, and craftsmanship we have always had. For example – BVLA has been using an XRF tester on its metals for many years.
The program exists to give piercers and their clients genuine confidence in the jewelry they choose — and to hold manufacturers to a consistent, transparent set of standards. As a verified manufacturer, BVLA meets all of the program's requirements, which include:
