STARR ELLIS
Founder & Piercer
“I specialize in minimal and maximal ear decoration and affirming piercings, with an emphasis on client care and comfort. I am very passionate about piercing education not only for our clients, but learning from and teaching with peers as well.”
Specializing in body piercing since 2004, Starr is an admirer of all sparkles and stones, an avid reader, and animal and nature lover. She moved to New York in September 2010 to work at Pure Body Arts/Sacred Tattoo, where she eventually bought and changed the name to Nine Moons Piercing.
Starr is certified in CPR, bloodborne pathogens, and is a proud member of the Association of Professional Piercers. She attends their annual conference to stay up-to-date with the latest practices and safety standards. Starr is dedicated to providing her clients with the safest, cleanest, and most enjoyable experience possible!
ROZE RAHIM DEJESUS
Piercer
Roze is born and raised in the Bronx, New York and has been piercing for the past two years, though she has been working in the industry for over seven years. Her Indian heritage has influenced her love for jewelry, which seamlessly translates into her passion as a piercer. Her favorite part of piercing is the instant joy and pride people experience after they see their piercings for the first time.
ELAINE VALENTIN

Self-expression and adornment through body piercing have always been a part of Elaine. They are grateful for the gift of being able to guide others through their piercing journeys, whether it’s their first or their hundredth piercing! Some of their favorite things about being a piercer include connecting with people and honoring the trust they’re given while performing a piercing. Eyebrow and conch piercings are definitely among their favorites to pierce, but they really love seeing an ear or facial set come together with the perfect jewelry and placement combinations. They can’t wait to meet you and help your vision come to life!
NAOMI MARIE
Piercer, Custom Orders
Naomi has been working in the piercing industry for over five years. Specializing in custom orders and styling, they love to curate sets for clients! Their current favorite piece is the Tiny Athena from BVLA. “It's so delicate, but strong with any gem combo in it.” Certified in CPR, blood borne pathogens and a member of the Association of Professional Piercers. Naomi attends the conference each year to continue their education and to network with the industry. They love their cats Monkey and Crumble, rock climbing, and traveling.
AUTYMN BOATMAN
Piercer
Autymn is a professional body piercer with seven years of experience and has been a member of the Association of Professional Piercers (APP) for two years. Autymn has always had a passion for experimenting with jewelry, finding the perfect fit, and discovering which stones shine the brightest together. Moonstone is her favorite stone, admired for its bright flashes of different colors when the light hits just right.
Originally from central New Jersey, Autymn has traveled across the United States to broaden her knowledge and passion for the craft. Currently, her favorite piercing is the daith piercing. Autymn finds great joy in boosting clients' confidence with a stunning new piercing, ensuring they have a comfortable and safe experience.

Karla's upbringing in Germany left her with a lasting impression of the phrase, "The devil is in the details." She has a passion for styling, whether it's through fashion or body modification. Grace has called New York City home for the past 15 years. With 8 years of experience in the jewelry and piercing industry, she brings a sharp creative vision to her work as a brand director and graphic designer. As an APP member, Grace is committed to upholding the highest standards in the field while shaping thoughtful, innovative brand identities. In addition to her design work, she offers custom jewelry orders and personalized styling curations, helping clients express their individuality through intentional and elevated pieces.
