SHALA is a word that comes from Sanskrit and means house or home; it is also commonly used in yoga studios to define the space where it is practiced. Our purpose in using this word is to try to connect piercing as another type of ancestral practice.
Piercing is a tradition that has been present since the beginning of humanity through countless cultures, and in this space we honor that history and continue to carry it forward with the respect it deserves .

I started my career as a professional piercer in 2004, after having pierced for some years in a less professional way, although the truth is I always made an effort to do everything in the best way possible.
Once I fully committed to this profession, I had the opportunity to take different seminars and courses, which led me to meet other professionals who invited me to work in their studios, so I spent 10 years outside of Tijuana, growing as a Piercer.
In 2014 I returned and was part of Tia Juana Tattoo for almost 8 years and now I have the great honor of being part of this beautiful project in which we offer you the most beautiful and best quality jewelry, installed in the safest way.
